On behalf of the Internal Medicine residents based at the Montreal General Hospital, we are humbly seeking donations to support resident initiatives and wellness. Specific initiatives include:

1) Furnishing call rooms

As it currently stands, there is a single call room on the 17th floor. We are actively working towards getting a second call room so both the senior and junior have dedicated call rooms. 

Through previous fundraising efforts, we have been able to furnish the 15th floor residents’ room with a whiteboard, new chairs and sofas as shown in the pictures below. 

2) Teaching nights 

The MGH VP Academics are hoping to organize teaching nights and journal clubs on a regular basis, similar to those hosted at other sites. We hope to be able to provide food for the residents in attendance. 

3) Wellness events 

The MGH VP Socials are hoping to organize more social events for MGH residents. Highlights this year included a welcome event for the R1s, a hike to Mount Orford and a Holiday dinner as shown in the pictures as well.
